Need help servicing toyota 1991 cynos/paseo

Tried doing a transmission fluid change drained and filled it to the top of the cold level on the dip stick however after driving around for a while I decided to check if its in the hot section. However, after checking noticed that its still in the region of the cold section any help on why this is would be very appreciated 

also if anyone knows where to find an online owners manual for my 1991 automatic Toyota cynos that would also be very appreciated :)
