Hi , looking to lower my 2018 aygo. Going for a set of 16s and d2 100mm coilovers.  Looking to get super low look and before I spend cash I am asking if achievable this way as looking for wheels in arches nearly.  Any advice or info would be great.

Thanks

Richie.

Maybe contact your insurance company to see if the mods will affect your policy.

Don't do it, unless you don't want a spine left in 10 years time, want to get into a Maccy D's car park or over that pesky 1/2" curb stone, coil overs need to be setup correctly preferably with wheel scales it not cheap dont forget anything over 40-50mm drop insurance will hit you hard

If it's a daily driver, lower it on springs and uprated shocks

iirc D2 are chineseium junk at a grand there are way better options

As for wheels if you go anything over 16" it will kill bushes and knock out wheel bearings, 6-6.5" width is as wide as you want to go

Edit. Don't forget you will need tpms sensors for the wheels, tpms light on or not active is an instant MOT fail

Not true, there are no TPMS sensors in the wheels - it's a passive ABS speed sensor based system.

My bad thinking of the Yaris again, Abs TMS - set button in the glove box
