Rav 4 Mk2 4x4 Exhaust system

My Rav 4 is dated September 2000.

I'm repairing the exhaust system below the first section

from the exhaust manifold. There's a flange with a gasket in it. There's also a flange before the rear baffle.

The bolts are usually rusted in. I'd like to remove the exhaust from here.

So any suggestions?  I've been told the bolt screws through into a nut which is welded

to it's side of the flange. Is this correct? A threaded section protrudes on the nut side of the flange.

Can you identify this bolt please. What size is it and how long is it? It seems to measure 42mm

in length and is 9mm outside diameter. Is that M10?

If you were going to unscrew this bolt how would you go about it?

Thanks to all.

due to age these bolts will either round off or snap, remove and replace with a standard size nut and bolt
