Get a UK Spec Supra, 326bhp standard and will leave a GTR standing.

where did you get that nonsense from?

The Stock GTR will not pull like a stock Supra - FACT.

Forget the 4WD on the GTR, the supra has more bhp, more torque and a bigger engine with a higher top end.

GTR's will usually get infront of a Supra off the lights but this is ONLY because it has 4WD and can get its power down. Once you get moving the GTR will quickly be caught up then left behind the Supra - FACT

Just checkout the videos done by Best Motor magazine in japan. Skyline makes it to the 1/4 line first but above 70mph the GTR cant put the power down like a Supra. Also this non-bias test was done with 280bhp Supra and 280bhp skyline.

UK Car with 326bhp will destroy it even more royally.

Dont get me wrong the skyline is a great car and i've always liked them but this Supra vs Skyline debate will go on forever.

But really its simple physics, 2.6 vs a 3.0. Nuff said

yeah to be honest im too far away to try and sell my rex to you anyway, they arnt to bad to get parts for although i would say its gonna soak up a few more quid than a supra to maintain,

tax: basically it depends on if the car was registered as a 1.3 or a 2.6 but yes if registered 1.3 you can claim it as a 1.3 for cheap tax.

Obviously this is going to go the way of EVERY Supra V Skyline thread on every forum.

By the way that video is a load of crap, the stock supra can do a 13.4 quarter with the right person behind the wheel. Obviously the dude driving the Supra in that video is about as skilled as i am coming off the line - i.e Not very .

Hi there. Just registered. Looking for some advise as to what you guys think is best. Im looking at getting either an R33 GTS-T skyline or Supra TT.  Ive not driven a supra yet but had a go in a skyline and it was quick. Has anyone driven both or raced a skyline perhaps. Any help would be great. cheers.

Come on lad stop tickling it mate, if your gonna buy a car buy a skyline gtr, if ur feeling nautical buy a supra as they make excellent canal barge boats, come on there cruise liners

Hows does tax work out since your engine is only a 1.3?

I never realised the Uk spec Supra's were so much better than the jap ones, they have bigger brakes all round as well don't they?

326bhp & 0-60 in 4.9 vs 280bhp & 0-60 in 4.9 (both official figures) - doesnt take a brain surgeon to work that one out.

The Supra is as quick on 0-60, but has a higher top speed stock and has more BHP.

Modified the Supra can pull quicker 1/4 mile times than a Skyline can - fact

Barge? Sorry but the Supra is no barge, 4WD obviously is the reason that the Skyline can grip the corners better than a Supra. Weight wise they are almost identical. Looks wise the Skyline is no way as pretty as a Supra.

Videos of skylines whipping supras is just down to the fact that a Supra is a harder car to drive being RWD, we arent all as lucky as the un-skilled Skyline drivers who rely on computers and funny 4wd systems to do the driving for them

Everyone is entited to their own opinion of course and i do recognise the Skyline as a worthy opponent for the Supra, just not as a better car than the Supra by a long shot :P .

If you wanna blow skylines then be my guest, go do it on another forum where someone will give a damn. ;)
