Avensis 2005 1.8 VVTI Petrol - Coolant

Hi guys,

I can't seem to find my vehicle manual anywhere for the Avensis.  Does anyone know what coolant I need?  2005 1.8 VVTI Petrol - I have never topped it up and it looks like it hasn't used any.  It's one of those things, I only remember to check it when I've been driving 😞 I just want to check and make sure I put the right stuff in.  I don't want to put some Halfords £5 stuff in and have it corrode all the pipes etc.

I am assuming it's a toyota coolant thats in the there currently as I've had it 12 years and never topped it up.

Two types of Toyota coolant - Long Life (red) or Super Long Life (pink). Check the colour of what is in there, but think the Super Long Life was introduced around 2004.

My car has still the original coolant from the factory. I am thinking to use this one to top up since mine is just above the low level:

Question is, do I need to add anti-freeze to this coolant?

Personally at this age  I would change it.

If using non toyota fluid then flush the system out.

Yes I will do in a couple of months. But as a short term I was going to fill it up with the one I found on eBay.
