Toyota Landcruiser (Prado) 150 Series 2010-2012

I am thinking of buying a Japanese import Landcruiser 150 series 4.0 V6 as the UK only ever got the Diesel option which is not ULEZ compliant within my budget.

Can someone explain what the spec differences are as they are totally different to the UK or even Australian spec designations.

The JDM ones are:

TX

TX-L

TZ-G

Trim levels are typically assigned by each country so can’t help but expect to get a more basic trim level and unlikely to have the rear diff lock as this is rarely seen in any JDM Cruiser.

You’ll love the 1GR engine. But expect to feed it frequently!

I expect it to be thirsty, still not pulled the trigger on this as the 4.0 V6 is quite rare even in Japan. Top spec is TZ-G I think.

Not the biggest deal not having rear locker, prob have LSD instead which is fine unless you are doing serious off road stuff

I am also thinking of getting a JDM imported LC150 V6 to upgrade my 120 V6. I have never been a fan of the diesels since (not only do I travel to London for work frequently and need it to be ULEZ compliant but also because they always lack the power I feel ruins the whole Land-cruiser experience, I want the TZ.G spec ideally but I want to look for the 2nd face-lift model from 2014. How easy was importing yours and do you struggle with parts? Where can I find them? How do you replace the dials from km-h to mph since the only country that uses mph is the uk and they only got the diesels and they have different Gage clusters. How much mpg do you get in yours? I also get around 19 mpg in mine so I'm hoping in the newer 1GR it's slightly better but if not that's fine.

This is roughly an example of what I want:
