How do I change the units on the fuel consumption from litres per mile to miles per gallon?

The handbook says to press and hold the Navi/Trip button and then press and turn the tuning knob, but when I press the Navi/Trip button it just cycles through the display and doesn't give me a display of units.

All help gratefully received.

Thanks.

Hi,

You should just press the Tuning knob to enter that menu list, then go through the audio settings until you come to  LPH, then pess again to enter that section and turn the knob to select one of the fuel options LPH,MPG etc

Any of those consumption readings can vary quiet a bit, sometimes they are accurate other times out by a fair bit, normally do not use them.

Generally filling the tank to the brim, running it and refilling is the best way to get a more accurate reading, our 1.6 gives about 40mpg.

Now sorted - thank you very much.

When I press the Tuning Knob it beeps - and then there is a slight delay before the screen changes to the menu option - and it was my impatience letting me down.

Thanks again.

Why would you state that the readings are out?

The data is pulled straight off the fuel mapping,  and compared to distance recorded at the roadwheels.

While there may be some variation with tyre fitment, (within a tight legal requirement for speed calculation),  the fuel metering certainly is more accurate than 'brim to brim' (which certainly is not)

An engine cannot reasonably run without highly accurate fuel mapping on an injection system.

Hence,  I think the issue is more around understanding,  than inaccurate system data!
