I am gonna get 2.25" piping and a generic performance muffler. The dude said it will cost me $163. pretty cheap.

it is very cheap..but what engine work have you done to your car, as 2 .25 piping if your going straight from the engine to the back of the cart. I find that too BIG for a car with little modifications, as the bigger the pipe, the slower your car will be depending on the mods, of it..

i'm having so many probs with my catback, it's not worth the trouble, trust me. it doesn't result in that much power. mine's mandrel bent, 2.25" with a straight flow back box. it's loud, it rattles because there's not enough places to brace the exhaust on the seo, and it was dissappointing gain-wise. I've stopped modding. it's just a waste on the seo.

I don't know... I've only had cold air intake and extractors put on and my 2.25" mandril bent exhaust gave the car some good pickup with no rattle

I had the same problems for a while :( Then got it redone, it has a bracket round the back box directly below the existing hanger brackets and two more at the back where the rear metal valance behind the bumper has been drilled, then its bolted via rubber hangers there. Mines perfect now, just depends who does it for ya

And I only went to 2" bore, which is more than enough for this engine

the only problem i had was that i eventually wore away the middle silencer (no i didnt go for a straight through cat back) because it would bottom out on many a speed bumps. but they guys i got it done for where kind enough to replace it free of charge, cos i sent some other custom there way too...

Iv got a cat back system on mine and i love it, had a few teathing problems when i first got it done, i.e. rattling against the heat shields and the brackets and rubbers coming off, but took it back and iv had no trouble what-so-ever since, had two more brackets welded on and thihcker rubbers put on

I believe the ideal exhaust system, would be something like a straight 2inch pipe from the header.. straight to a backbox, something like a Magnaflow, HKS or something of that sort
