We have a '08 Yaris hatch, that needs a new Battery. 

Can someone post the group size for this car as this is how its identified.

You don't specify petrol or Diesel. It does appear, going by that link, that it's virtually the same Battery, depending on fuel, since the year dot.

Is it possible to identify the existing Battery for reference?

Also check the dimensions, cold cranking amps, Ah and terminal layout before buying from anywhere. Mistakes are sometimes made with descriptions.

For information only - my 1.33l petrol's Battery was a direct replacement of the factory fitted. Varta C22 Blue Dynamic, 52Ah, 470A. That, or an equivalent band, looks to be fitted in most petrol Yarisssss since 1999.

It’s a Russian site but with English language, all you need is to find your car model from drop down menu. 👍

There are a few factors - what engine, is it French or Jap built  ?? what Battery do you currently have ?
