Park assist Green light

My front brakes are absolutely cooked after a run, spray a little water on the front discs and they hiss and steam like crazy, the rears are just warm. The park assist light is permanently illuminated as a green P is this correct, loads of drag when driving

This is two separate things, not sure about what you are seeing with the discs although I would expect the fronts to be 'warmer' than the rear as they take more of the braking effort. Maybe you need a dealer to check if brake pads are releasing.

The green P is nothing to worry about, it is telling you that the parking sensors are enabled. If you go into the settings and turn them off it will go out. This is nothing to do with the temperature of the discs.
