 Hi all. I’ve been having trouble with my Yaris. When I turn the car off the radio has started staying on and draining the Battery. After taking it to several places and now found out that when I unplug the part you see in the photos the radio goes off. I’ve been looking online to find a replacement but can’t find one anywhere. Can anyone help?

It is called an "Eco Run Convertor" you are unlikely to get it anywhere else other a Toyota dealer, avoid used parts as they will likely fail again unless they are of the new number below, The part you have has now been superseded by a modified part intended to fix the very issue you are experiencing;

New part numbers are:

1 x G92CO-52051 - Eco Run Convertor - £116.85 + vat

2 x 90159-50385 - SCREW - .99P Each + vat

1 x F1334-52020 -  Bracket - £12.01 + vat

You need the extra screws and bracket  to fit the modified Convertor however it is a simple swap and nothing else is required when installing

Is it definitely the 52051 and not 52050?

Apologies a typo

52030 became 52031 and finally 52050

  • 2 years later...

Finally had to replace mine as now the problem was consistent. Thought I'd be able to use the existing bracket but the screws were so rusted on, they have rounded off.

Toyota however can't find the bracket part number that's supposed to go with (thankfully sourced off eBay at £18), but the two screws are coming in at £5.something inc VAT?? What????

Thankfully the part is plug and play as well so no need to worry after fitting.

@Devon Aygo

Hi pal, can you please confirm the part numbers and prices above are still accurate for the Mk2 1.33 Yaris? I'm trying to get them ordered but local toyota dealer seems to disagree on what I need.

I've bought G92CO-52050 at £150ish inc VAT. Got just the module, no brackets.

They are saying the 2 screws I need are 90159-60613 and not 90159-50385 as you've stated above. I've confirmed its the screws that tie the bracket to the module that I'm after, not the bolts that tie the bracket to the car.

and for the bracket, they are saying F1334-52020 isn't a part number but a production number, and isn't something that they sell separately?

So confused. Help is much appreciated.

not sure is if the newer G92CO-52051 requires that bracket or nuts any more, and just mounts up to the original bracket

G92C0-52050 + F1334-52020 + 90159-50385 x 2 - May have been a workaround solution at the time

Sorry, I initially carried on with the typo from Devon's initial post. It is the 52050 ECO run module that I bought.

Late Mk2. I've bought the bracket off eBay however local toyota were adamant its not a part number but a production number.

For the screws, they kept saying 90159-50385 was not the one for my car, and 90159-60613 was the one I needed. I've ordered the former anyway.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I changed over the ECO run converter to the new one and that has fixed the power issue when the car is switched off.

A couple of issues I've noticed that have occurred since then (could be a coincidence but seems suspect):

1) The front washer pump is no longer functioning. Does not make any noise when activated, though the wipers still sweep as normal. Rear washer and wiper are fine and fuses are fine. Suspect the front washer pump has suffered electrical damage perhaps. Can anyone please provide the part number for this (Mk2 2011 1.33vvti yaris)

2) The Mode button on the steering button stereo controls no longer lights up at all. I could have sworn this used to light up when the car headlights were switched on but others are telling me it never did. Am I losing my marbles?

Any help with the above is much appreciated.
