The zero finance wont be back anytime soon.

Shame. That's how we got into a hybrid initially. It worked though cos the next one was Toyota too!

I ordered a cancelled order on 23rd October which was due to arrive  two week later. I am now told it won’t be available until the New Year due to a recall on the vehicle! Anyone know anything about a recall? I can’t find anything anywhere about this and feel I am being told lies just to get me to sign on the line! Seriously considering pulling out kept deal! Also has anyone had any issues with the Battery dying and needing to jumpstart or use a trickle charger? Going to see dealer tomorrow and according to what they tell me will be my decider!

It depends what the cancelled is.  There was a recall on the earlier models for the ecall system.  This jump start thing is doing the rounds on this forum because it came to light during covid when cars were stood for months on end.  You can flatten the Battery while you are sat it it as some have reported here but they never admit ignoring the warnings that come up on the dash.  Of course it’s always the crap car or the crap Battery to blame, never operator error.

Have you ordered any accessories?

Just the protection pack. Do they fit those in Belgium? 🤷‍♂️

No they fit them in Derby (Burnaston) and they can wait quite some time there.  Are you looking online or on the app?   I would think it’s in Derby by now.

I don’t have the app as it’s a cancelled order from earlier this year. It’s a premium Ed with two packs safety and dab radio package I think!  I have been told it’s in the UK already well two weeks ago now!

would it be an earlier car with the recall on it if ordered earlier in the year for a 72 plate?

Hi Jeannette

By premium, do you mean a Yaris Cross Premiere edition model as I see you have Yaris Cross noted on your profile? If so, IMHO it would be worth holding on to if you can as they don't make them with HUD any more and they are fetching high prices 2nd hand. The dealer may well want you to cancel. This is the nub of another post in the Yaris Cross Delivery Thread. The thing is, you have a cancelled order so you are completely in the dark about real delivery date, as we were.

Yeah I’ve tried everywhere. App, safari, chrome. They all agree the car is in zeebrugge and nothing additional showing in the backend data. Guess will just have try and stay patient. They’re trying me tho lol.

Yes it’s Yaris Cross Premium Ed. So worth going with the flow.

The order fom will mention when your car will be delivered. mine mentioned December even when the dealer told September and i got the vehicle in 1st week of December

Mine said 24th May. I don't think their estimate is anywhere near accurate. 😆

Not sure about Premium 😉, but if it is a Premiere, hold on. People would bite your hand off to get on that order because it was a limited run and because

And nice seats, with heating built in, although not a heated steering wheel, shame.

Hmmm, certainly looks like it’s stuck there.  I think I would phone Toyota Customer Services NOT your dealer and just see what they say.

Contacted my Toyota dealer and they told me the date has been pushed back. Apparently there is a shortage of car transporters. The number of cars has exceeded the number of transporters as the chip/parts shortages have eased so more cars are arriving. I’ve been told the ETA for the car has moved from late December to 17th January.

The car location is still showing as Grimsby at the moment.

I got the same update, although my tracker is still showing Onnaing (app Zebrugge).

25th Jan, but they say it could be bought forward. Either way, not too much longer to wait.

Look forward to seeing some pics, once you've picked it up. 🙂

Mine is thankfully now showing arrived at Portbury. Should be on track for late next month.

Well we sent a query to Toyota and got a slightly bizarre reply. At least it's an update so the wait continues...

in their words... "vehicle is still at  Zeebrugge but unfortunately there is a backlog due to Russian vehicles being held there"

Anyway they suggested the car will be in UK on 28/12, so we'll see then if the tracker updates accordingly. That'll be almost 2 months after it was built.

If it's of any mild comfort, mine was in Zebrugge for over 18 days. I can only assume the backlog is the reason it has ended up in Portbury instead of Grimsby.

We've been given 25th Jan, which is 2+ months from build. Bad time of year for smooth logistics. 🙂

Well It's finally new car day on Friday! It was ordered mid March, Went into build on 27th November and arrived at the dealership this Monday. It's been a long wait but got there in the end! (GR Sport, Bi-tone with city pack)

Hope others who ordered around this time have theirs arriving soon!

Like others, my car is stuck at Zeebrugge. I was given an expected delivery date of the 10th January but the dealer is now saying the 17th February. If that ends up being the case I’ll ask them to register it on the 1st March.
