Yaris Service Interval

Hello. I have had my 2019 Yaris serviced (interim) at 7,111 miles in October last year. I'm currently on 15,500 and will be going on a to Scotland at the end of the month, road trip soon. I can do the full service before I go, at 16,500 or after at 18-19k miles, would it make much difference to do it 12k miles after the last service? Would the warranty still be active?

Thank you!

Service intervals are either 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first.  Servicing the car late (ie. beyond either the time or mileage whichever is due) will affect the warranty in that any warranty claim which is dependent on correct servicing being done, may be refused.

When your car is at 16,500, it will have done around 9,400 miles since the last service, so I would get the service done before your road trip.

If you're worried about keeping the warranty intact, do it before.

I was asking Toyota GB about this and the rather frosty (No offence frosty ) reply I got was that, No, I couldn't even go 1 mile over the 10,000 mile limit without voiding the warranty as they were very strict about it.

Could probably challenge this as there is usually some wiggle room, but to avoid the hassle it's easier to just do it within the mileage stipulated by the warranty...

Hence why I'm now on a 7-8 month service cycle!  :crybaby:
