I have a 1998 camry it had brake failure and i checked the brake fluid was low and it was throwing brake fluid from the left front disc when i opened the wheel i didn had a brake pad on the outer side. Is this leak due to the missing brake pad

Maybe the piston in the caliper has moved passed the normal working limits if a pad is missing, so yes that could cause a leak. I suppose a pad could detach from the backing plate but I've never heard of it happening.
