Oil Cooler Hose Failure

Anybody have any luck getting anywhere with Toyota on their Ext Warranty for the Oil Cooler Hose Assembly.  Toyota sent a notification that they would warranty the part for 10 years or 150K mile.  Mine failed at 10 years 4 months and 144 thousand miles and they claim I have no standing for repair.  How do they get away without a recall? or a prorated assistance program?  Anybody having these issues?

The extended warranty in the US will provide cover for 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first. 

So you will be out of scope of the extended warranty on the time basis.
