Hi, I bought a second hand silver Toyota Vitz 2011 in NZ shipped from Japan. After my car Battery went flat and restarted, the radio asked a question ‘ ペットの名前’ - pet’s name.  Just wondering if anyone could help, really appreciate!

Hi I have a Vitz too experiencing the same problem, did you manage to get the code and how?

If the code has not been changed by a previous owner, a lot of factory codes are just, (however many required), 0000, (zeros). Might be worth a try.

Hi mate thanks for reply, all sorted now, apparently these ERC passwords include both letters and numbers, was quite long in the end and definitely not 0000. I followed this guide https://www.rapidradiocodes.co.uk/manufacturers/toyota to get the serial number they need and within seconds after paying they sent me the working code, and only paid £4.99 which was cheaper than anywhere else I found.
