Hi, just joined the forum, so thought I'd introduce myself.

A couple of months ago I took delivery of a nice new RAV4 Self Charging Hybrid Excel and I'm really happy with it. I've owned Toyotas before, a Camry and then a Carina II; but that was back in the 90s.

The RAV is my first leased car, so I've only got it for 3 years, at which point the current plan is to see if I can afford the PHEV version.

As I said, I'm really happy with the car, its very comfortable and seems really economical, currently getting about 47 to 50mpg locally; I've done a few longer journeys (Northumberland to Surrey and N'Land to Liverpool) and got the same level of mpg on both.

My only disappointments so far are on the technology side; the Toyota MyT app seems very limited in its functions; also, I'd hoped to be able to connect Android Auto wirelessly, but that's not the case. However, these are just icing on the cake things really, the car is great.

Overall, very happy to be back in the Toyota fold 🙂
