I have only ordered mine with city pack, no extras other than that, unless there’s a shortage of grey paint🤭

There are gallons of white paint, but it is the black to mix it with that is non-existent! 😁

(Sorry! - couldn't resist)

Well here's a first for me anyway. A brand new car that's currently in stock being discounted with no reference that I can see, to PCP contribution.

Yaris Cross GR Silver

Compare that to:

Yaris Cross GR Silver

which is a '23 year car on a 72 plate with 1750 miles on the clock for £2450 more.

My advice is if buying a used car, be very careful how much you're paying for it because they have the potential for depreciating at eye watering amounts.

Yes, they’re coming through much quicker and there are some cracking Carwow discounts.

👍

I'm now seeing them every day on the roads. Not sure what the actual selling stats are but I'd say dark grey was the most popular colour choice followed by solid white. Only colour I haven't seen in the flesh so to say, is that orange. It probably has limited appeal.   (Sorry, couldn't resist 😁)

Yes I’m seeing more and more the only disappointing thing is….I’m not in one…😭

Walked into Toyota dealer Sunday 16/4/23 at 1100. Went to a few different Dealerships, mainly due to find something for our worsening mobility. Yaris Cross-good access. Had a nice test drive. Vauxhall Crossland-too high for a 5 foot wife bad legs! Citroen C3 Aircross and Citroen C4-as the Crossland. Back to the Toyota dealer, to ask more questions. I know he is a salesman but he was very laid back. The result is a Pre registered Yaris Cross Icon (01/04/23) 6 miles on the clock. He was even happy to let me put off picking up till 29/04/23 as I'm off to Scotland for a week this Friday. Told him there might be another 800 miles on the trade in (2021) Cross with already nearly 26000 on the clock. Was not bothered he said. So I was happy with the trade in. All done and dusted by 1500!

My Cross has been sat up in Derby for 3 weeks now, been in the UK for 4 weeks. Ordered in October, original delivery eta was Feb. My salesman can't seem to operate a phone to get a firm eta and I'm getting annoyed now. Better have it's !Removed! mudflaps having waited this long.

This'll be my sixth Toyota, but possibly my last after this experience. Is the Cross as good as I thought it was on my test drive....?

I ordered my YC with tech pack in Galactic blue in December 2022 at the dealers now and was only in Derby for less than a week and due to pick up on Thursday. Not sure why some orders come through quicker but maybe due to customer cancelled orders?

They’re mostly coming through quicker but to achieve this they sometimes despec the cars.  JBL has gone (at least in this country) and the pan roof option has just gone.  Mudflaps are now unavailable until further notice. You plain spec cars are coming through.

Mine has been in Derby for 7 weeks now and no sign of it moving yet.

@pip57 I had notification that mine has arrived at the dealership today, so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Ordered mid August 22, now at last in build at factory April 17 23! Seems to be taking longer than they say to build. Toyota quote 15 hrs but its been showing on the MyT app as in build for last three days. Still at least its moving.

Don’t be disheartened.  They update the app in stages so it could actually be sitting outside in the sun.

Does anyone know if I should have my VIN number after I've placed my order? Still can't get the MyT app to work with the dealer saying it's because my car is already built. It would still be nice to track it's delivery though

I telephoned my dealer this morning and was informed that they have the car, (ordered 12 January), they just have to fit the tow bar 😀. Once I can drive again, next week, I will be collecting it.

That's because you live in my home county! Seriously, I hope it will not be long for you now, from what I have read elesewhere, things seem to be speeding up.

Ordered mine 30 Jan, collected it Sat 15 April.

Excel AWDi with towbar in Scarlet Flare.

Loving it, can be a bit raucous with a bit of oomph, but you soon get used to it.

Still some tweaking to do,

-The auto lights on are way too sensitive, they come on on a bright day with even a hint of shade.
-The auto lane centering is probably ok once you get used to it, but, think I might disable or desensitise it.
-Upped the momentary flashers from 3 to 5 flashes.
-Disabled the back seat warning.

Not examined the 12v Battery yet, but it seems to be sitting at 12.4v on initial switch on then jumps to 14.4v when the dc converter kicks in. Maybe the issue previously posted has been resolved m time will tell,

I’m sure there’s  lots more settings to twiddle with, but for the moment, just enjoying the car.

When did Yorkshire move to Ireland?, do I need to pay more council tax?😁

Picked up my new YC yesterday, ordered 15th December last year. Noticed when I got home that the tyres were all inflated to 40 psi, so much for the PDI.  Adjusted to correct pressure. One other thing I noticed is that the service book was blank and nothing was filled in i.e. vin number and delivery date and not even the dealers stamp.

Surely the dealer has to enter all the details prior to hand over?

Overall pleased with the new car, I traded in my previous YC so am familiar with the settings etc. just need to tweek a bit to suit me.

The same with mine , nothing filled in...

Let’s hope so. My app is still showing it as being in Derby…but it does sometimes take them a while to update the app. My dealership is not the same as yours but is in the same area of England so potential for it to be on the same transporter perhaps.
