Mine (red,AWD, tech package,style package - not available in UK), towbar, roof rack) was ready after two months. I asked what colours and spec is available in nearest months. He told me gold (AWD + style + tech) was available in one month (alerady produced), red two months, others - 7-9 months.

So my conclusion is, when you want it quite fast, ask for colours and packages.

What changed, is no mud flaps. Can anyone give me a hint where can i order them?

This one (not OEM) seems to be only one available in Europe.

I posted this as a new Topic but can't seem to find it yet. Never heard of Indonesia being a launch venue so wonder if this is what European cars will look like?

Funnily enough, in the space of 1 week, the YC I had been talking about had (to the confusion of the sales exec.) increased in price. He came back with the explanation that it would be a MY23 hence the increase.. Anyone agree or disagree with that scenario (MY23)?

Keep in mind, Cross mudflaps are the cheapest in the range at £15 a pair.  Just wait until they are available again 👍

Test drove on jan 7, so ordered on 9 jan, initially told April  but got a phone call saying July, ordered excel with city pack, no idea why some are getting there’s sooner having ordered after me..🤔

I collected mine on 25th April and the salesman did say that the price had increased by one thousand Euro the week before. I don't know if this was anything to do with MY23 or not.

When I ordeded mine at the end of March, I was told they would be putting up the price in the new tax year (April 6th onwards) my guess would be that's possibly filtered through the system now.

When they rang me to say delivery was now July, they never mentioned a price increase, they just said I wouldn’t lose financially, I just assumed they meant the px value of my trade in

Did they actually say wireless charging or wireless connectivity? Not aware of any UK Yaris Cross coming with wireless charging but I may be wrong. ( dealers are usually the last people to know about changes to spec 🤣 )

Pretty typical feature in our market. The 2nd trim already gets wireless charging (although with a plus pack). So, my Yaris Cross will have wireless charging (and wireless connectivity) but I just dont have a phone at the moment that supports its lol.

Funny cos my old Nokia Lumias from 2012-2014 have the feature but none of my last phones since.

Time is dragging, put my order in on the 3rd but ofc nothing new about it yet. Dealer gave an ETA of end of august so nothing likely to start happening for another month and then some

Had wireless charging in at least last four cars and same story, never used it once because a: never had a phone that's compatible and b: as I'm lead to believe, it's too slow.

Would like it in the Yaris X though for no other reason that it stinks of cheapness without it. Toyota haven't even bothered to insert a cubby or even add a tiny rubber mat where at least you could place something that won't rattle or slide around. It looks so cheap and nasty just having the same moulded colour plastic trim.

Like the boot mat, there are 3rd party solutions to such basic oversights, which on a car now listing north of £30k here in the UK, is really poor.

I have wireless charging in my puma it’s really annoying as it constantly says charging disconnected as somethings in the way, perhaps it’s the case, I end up moving it away from the charger, ( or rather the wife does as it’s illegal to hold your phone) so not really bothered too much about it, but I agree, it’s a bit cheap of Toyota not to fit it in a costly car…

There’s other things I’d rather have than a wireless charger.  I’m also led to believe that unless they’re air cooled, they don’t do the phone any good.   I had one in the Lexus but never used it once.

Wireless Charger too slow to replace the charge consumed when using Car Play.

So always used the Cigar Lighter to charge my phone on Long Trips.

My iPhone fits under the armrest & when I charge it fits in the Centre Console  padded shelf.

No cheapness to me

As others have said (and certainly gels with my experience): wireless charging cannot supply enough power if the phone is running a navigation app via Android Auto or Apple Carplay. And, as a 'bonus', the continuous charging at the maximum the wireless charger can deliver, can overheat the phone (especially if it's in a case) and cause the phone to shut down.

And you can absolutely guarantee that this will happen at the most inconvenient time....

It depends on market and specs.

What I wanted was given a 16 week ETA that is probably rather accurate, but some other colors/trims were only 4 weeks away. Some 6, some 8 etc. At least around here you can use the Toyota site builder and it gives you an ETA for your choices. If you want one fast, ask a retailer what can be had for the fastest and its probably a month away.
