Upgrading 06' Yaris sound system

Hello All,

I'm a total noob to cars, and I have a 06 Yaris with the standard hi fi system with cd changer and radio.

I've bought a pretty cheap bluetooth transmitter, but the quality using it is annoying me. I love listening to music when i drive!

So two points here:

1) Is it worth me buying a better bluetooth transmitter and what one? - I'm in the UK.

2) I had thought about upgrading the hifi system - would love to have DAB radio and phone connectivity, and found something like this. I have no idea how to fit it, if it would work and how much it would cost for someone to fit it for me.

Would love to hear any suggestions on getting high quality audio in my little car 🙂

The radio you have chosen will fit ( you might like to ensure the new unit has Apple carplay / android auto for better integration )you will however need some adaptors to do so though, such as:
