So what do people think - is it true or is he talking ***** ???. I was always told the gt4's handling was really good. Have any of these problems been rectified in the later models or the CS ???.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my opinion, I`ve found that my GT-4 understeers like the QE2, Rolls like a pig and wears tyres like they`re going out of fashion. But i still love it to bits.

But lets look at it logically. The running gear and basic design goes back 17-18 years to the ST165 so it`s getting on a bit. (Good in it`s day tho)

As with most cars it`s built to a price. Has to be. I dont think Carlos Sainz could have won anything with a standard ST185 and i dont think the car buying public would pay £150,000+ for a replica rally car.

It`s all about compromise. There are plenty of products on the market that will enable you to have a Safe, Fast, Good handling car and still be cheaper than buying a new one.

Really is a case of how far do you want to go and how deep are your pockets.

Fantastic cars... Just need a bit of fettlin.... Enjoy. :D :D :D

Not a bad read......I'd expect an ST185 GT-4 to eat a GTX Laser & the VR4 is even heavier than a GT-4.

Cheers
