MMT oil change

Can someone tell me where the filler plug for the MMT box is located?

When I find it I will pump the oil out and pump new in so the location of the drain is less important.

I have been searching forums and manuals for hours and can find no mention..

Thats a good question- I have a 2007:  cannot find the drain or refill plug?

Also where is the MMT filter located?

it's a manual box, drain on the bottom fill on the back

SAE 75w, API GL4

1.7L or till it overflows

Crack the fill plug loose first before the drain

Hi. yaris 2007 1.3 - on take off gear 1-2 it makes a thumping noise and you really feel the movement like thump and then the car moves. Anyone can advise please

Hi Yaris 2007 mmt 1.3 makes a thump sound when taking off in gear 1-2, you can actually feel the car like make a thump and then moves on- if you give acceleration right at take off  it does not make the noise -any help please

It will needs to be checked by mechanics if you can’t check yourself. Could be anything really, binding brakes, suspension issues, engine transmission mounts. Everything.

Check with a mechanic as it could be multiple things :

-clutch bearing 

-engine mounts

-suspension/bushing related issues 

-Brakes

Yaris 2007 1.3 mmt

Thanks for your advise- this is a semi-auto MMT if you apply light acceleration at  take of it makes  a thump sound (like kickback- hesitates) and then moves. If you apply heavy acceleration on start there is no problem. 

Also, could this be gearbox oil issue?

What oil  does this take and how much?

As posted above, MMT is basically a manual with a load of electronics bolted to it

a thud like that is clutch related, if you don't take care of the problem it will kill the clutch - i would say it's the clutch actuator
