1.4VVti Cosmetic/ Performace modifications

Hi! The past few weeks ive read over topics such as this one on getting a bit more ump out of the 1.4 engine , I have found that changing the fuel pump, injectors, , throttle body and manifold from a 1zz-fe engine i can some bhp gains of 20-30bhp  . Cars with this done are apparently on the dyno and are doing 120-130bhp, has anyone done this and can give me a guide on what was done or if this is even possible?? 

Also, Im looking at swapping engine in the corolla , to a 1.8vvtli engine , I understand theres more work involved then just throwing the engine in but does that engine bolt straight in or do i need to buy/make different engine mounts etc

Body wise , Im more then likely going to go down the route of a TTe kit , Considering i bought the car and it already has a TTe spoiler , what alloys would people normally go for ? I dont want flashy im looking for light enough alloys that wont burn to much of a hole in my pocket! Thanks

Doing all that will cost you a lot in money and time and then need specialist insurance etc from folk like Adrian Flux if you want to protect yourself  and others in the event of an accident.

Why not buy a TSport which is what you seem to be after ? several on Gumtree, AutoTrader etc.

Check out the other threads about Tsports in this forum, sure those guys will help direct you to a decent one.

Hi , thanks for the reply insurance isnr a issue I won’t be putting through I’m not paying the robbing !Removed! a dime extra , and Ide prefer the car to be 1.4 on the log book instead of 1.8
