Just spotted I have Coyote app available in the E-Store. It mentions speed cameras. Can anyone tell me what it does and is it worth installing please?

Iirc it is only a 30 day trial of a paid for app.

That's right Scott. I just wondered if it was worth all the hassle of the download before I paid anything out. Can't seem to find anyone commenting on having or using the app.

What's the difference between the traffic alerts from Coyote compared to the traffic alerts from the satnav?

This Coyote topic came up back in March, seemed pretty worthless back then (my comments below):

I had a quick look, free for 3 years for various European countries and £37 per year in the UK (after 1 month trial).  Seems a bit steep just to add speed camera updates (does it do anything else?).  It seems odd having 3 years free in European markets when it appears illegal to have speed trap detector equipment switched on in your car in various European  countries, France and Germany immediately spring to mind (can you switch off/disable the speed camera alerts in settings when driving abroad?).

No problem Mike. The search function on this forum is pretty nifty, just filter to 'This Forum' when searching for anything Corolla related (generally quicker than reading the manual for features and functions of the car too)🙃

I had a look at it,  and as pointed out worthless, and it's speed camera only, no traffic updates, as far as I'm aware.
