Semi auto / automatic transmission problems

My Toyota Yaris stops all of a sudden and automatic transmission light comes up Iv put oil any help

Howdo.  I cant help specifically but with any auto you need to find out the correct way to check the oil level to get the right reading.   For instance on my old Merc you had to check it when warm, engine running and in P.

07 yaris will be an MMT gearbox (automated manual)

 

op you need to get the codes read, are you getting an over heat light ? if so its usually a sign of a clutch starting to slip, it can be caused by to many short runs
