LED Headlamps

Does anyone know the difference between the design and excel version LED headlamps.

Are the BI LED headlamps worth having from a performance perspective?

i can't remember who posted it on here but i do recall someone saying that their didn't appear to be any different other than the looks of the headlights themselves...
I don't have any first hand experience of the bi-LED ones.

I was driving yesterday evening and was surprised how early the headlights came on even though I have set the sensitivity to -2.

I have found that adjusting the sensitivity doesn’t seem to make much difference although by adjusting to -2 they don’t seem to come on when driving under trees when the trees cover each side of the road.
