My car Battery was flat. Had to borrow a charger from my neighbour.

Need advice where I should buy a car booster or portable charger just in case.

Many thanks

J

Do you have somewhere to park off-road with access to a power socket? If not then a portable rechargeable booster would certainly be useful.

I do have one in my garage. Incident usually happens  at home.

Maybe I don’t use the car too often as I should

Thank you

Then perhaps something like a CTEK mains charger would be suitable. You can leave them connected to the Battery for as long as you like without any risk of overcharging it, and they keep the battery topped up.

The CTEK that Nick mentions above, probably a CTEK 5, costs about £70 but will last for ages. A car booster, approx size of a chunky mobile phone, will deteriorate over time (Battery will go) and need replacing, cost probably about £40 plus.  I recommend to get a CTEK 5, Tayna in Abergele, north Wales do a very good postal service. CTEK is a Swedish ccompany, so you may have suppliers near where you are.
