Dashboard Lights

I am trying to reduce the brightness on  the dashboard of my 2019/2020 Rav hybrid. I have looked on You Tube and the owners manual with no luck. Can anyone help. Also I have reduced the sensitivity of the automatic lights but they still go on when they should not. Can they be turned off? Thanks.

The brightness of the dashboard illumination is adjusted via the odometer/trip button - it cycles through odometer (total), trip A, trip B, panel brightness. Not sure if it will offer the panel brightness without the external lights on though.

Doubt that the external lights can be turned off, this is something that has changed from the 4.4 and can be frustrating. I just don't worry about it any more. The only adjustment is for when they turn on at the external light level which I think from earlier posts you have already changed.
