X-Touch Software Update?

Hi everyone, 

Hopefully this is the best place to post this. 

I have a 2018 Toyota Aygo. The X-Touch multimedia system has never been updated - the Toyota website doesn't make it very easy to work out which update (if any?) is correct for my system. 

I have attached a photo showing the current firmware version. (Excuse the dust; somehow it looks worse in the photo than real life!)

Does anyone know if there's a newer version I can install, and where I can obtain it?

Following this. Seems to be a distinct lack of info on this topic.

@Ian J R If it's of any comfort, you appear to at least have a newer 'Audio' version than I do (0810) in our 2014 Aygo. OS is the same though.

Map updates are by SD card, only updates i have is for the later tripleplay 86140-YV020 but i can have a look

I have the 840 firmware if required

850 is the latest version.

Note of caution for any one with introduction software of 705, these must update to 810 before jumping up to latest, versions 810 of higher can jump up versions

APS has the X-Nav, so has the RC1 810 update (mirrorlink 1.0 to 1.1) i have the tsb's somewhere but they are buried

Thanks for this - do you have a link to download audio version 850? 

Are there any updates for the OS version? 

(If it's relevant, mine is a regular X-Touch, without navigation features)

I can only find the 840 atm if your on 705 you need to do the RC1 update to 810 first

Hi Flash, I am looking for firmware 8.40 because of bluetooth problems, do you have a download link., hope that solves the problem.

840 is for the xtouch

8.12 is for the tripleplay, please check your current version

It's 0840 for audio and 0621 for operating system but when my phone is connected and I press the connect button nothing happens. Still asks to connect my phone. I have a new Samsung and android auto installed. No idea what I'm doing wrong 😕

840 is an x-touch, the X-touch is not android auto compatible (2 knob radio)

the later Connect unit (aka tripleplay) is the one with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay - 3 Knob radio (86140-YV020) mid 2018 is the first of the tripleplay radios on  the models above the Aygo x-play, unless you ordered the sat nav

It uses a tethered connection, e.g. a USB cable
