I also had this problem even with update, and I think I managed to find a solution:
I noticed once that for a split second when someone called me while I was using AA, my screen lit up, and for that split second I heard the call on the Speakers, so:

I entered developer options and turned on "keep screen turned on during charging" - dad called me when I was driving now and I heard him flawlessly 😄 The screen dims heavily after a few seconds when plugged in so it's not distracting (even in nighttime it shouldn't be) and you can click power button to turn off the screen when charging at home for example.

It's a workaround solution but it worked (for me at least - hopefully will help you too Ewa, and anyone who has that problem too)

To enter developer mode tap 7 times on build number in settings (Numer kompilacji in my language), go into developer settings (Opcje programisty) and check Keep screen turned on while charging (Pozostaw włączony ekran)

I can't tell if it's a permament solution, but it seems to work in my case.

Hi.. I have an Aygo from 2014 with the touchscreen. WOuld it be possible to update the software on that car? Would really love if it had android auto, Apple carplay or just some kind of navigation 😛

Just to follow up, another member jogged my memory

the bluetooth can be tuned with a 4 digit code, i do not have access to an aygo to confirm it, the option should be it the hidden service menu

the button is something like HF Voice quality, under function check

hi i just changed the radio in my 2016 aygo to the one with 3 buttons and i have a problem with AA. despite the settings on the phone, I can't connect to the radio via usb cable. do i need any update? my radio is: 86140-YV020 8.14 8.34 8.59 @flash22can you help me?

That is current software, did you previously have sat nav ?? if so you need to disconnect the USB from the Nav splitter and plug it directly into the radio
