2004 RAV4 workhorse!

Hi 👋 Newbie to the site but not to the brand! I have a 2004 RAV4 which I have owned from new and driven for the full 200k miles on the clock! Flies through it’s MOT every year but cosmetically it’s seen better days (horses, dogs and an outdoor lifestyle takes it’s toll - not to mention the friend who carelessly drove it into a gate!). As I now have a truck for aforementioned outdoor lifestyle the beloved RAV4 no longer has a job and lack of use doesn’t suit it. Is there a market for oldies but goodies or am I better off just selling for scrap/parts? I recall a chap stopped me in a petrol station about 12 months ago asking if I’d sell it as there was a big following of that model - stupidly I didn’t ask any more as it was still used regularly.

grateful for any suggestions as it’s due MOT next week but no point of it goes for parts. 😪

There’s always a good market for old 4x4s, that age of Rav is pretty bulletproof and definitely not a scrapyard ornament.

Thanks AF557, I guess I’ll just MoT it and stick it on Marketplace/ Preloved and see if there’s any interest
