Yaris hybrid test drive

Hi all 

Had a test drive in new Yaris hybrid ,very positive ,just one thing  annoyed at speed 60+ the pillar by driver's door seemed very windy ,is this a normal trait or a one off in the car I drove ?

It's not something I've noticed on mine but I have seen the odd poster mention similar things in the forum.

Hi Ian, welcome to TOC.

I haven't driven the new Yaris but tbh I think that this is a Toyota trait - possibly noticeable because there isn't much noise from elsewhere?

If you put the radio etc. on you probably won't notice it.

Cheers for the replies ,the radio was off and everything else was great,should probably go with the uprated Speakers to add a bit more certainty!

Yeah, there's a bit of wind noise, but it doesn't seem any more than most cars i've owned. As another posters says, it's quite hushed anyway, so you tend to notice more external noise.
