Mostly but I would have to check the paperwork which is out in the car.

It would be great if you could check or post a pic- obviously crop off the private/sensitive bits.

Well I've had a productive hour, Toyota dealer called me to say the spare wheel parts where all finally in so I popped down there to collect them, then went home & fitted it.

Lee, what size wheel and tyre is it? And do you have the part numbers please?

Thanks, Chris.

Thanks Lee!

  1. Just wondering why did you need the 58410-F4090-C0 Board Assembly Deck? I guess the 2 litre version already has this part right? It was not recommended in the Devon Aygo or @alan333's list.
  2. You also got jack whose part number is 09111-F4011/Jack SU vs what has been posted ie jack 09111- F4010 on their list? Is there a difference between the two jacks?

58410-F4090-C0 Board assembly deck wasn't required in the end, my mistake on copy & paste.

jack no idea, like the wheel it looks like the original part number has been updated.

Now all the wheel jacks 09111-F4010 appear to have sold out! the new number 09111-F4011 are approx. £67 + VAT and some are charging for delivery. The local dealer is contacting Toyota for an explanation why the price has risen in the region of 400% (Cost of living) as from the picture details on the Toyota parts lists there appears to be no change. Toyota are good at changing the last digit of part numbers from '0. to a '1' usually this only means it is a revision. In this case could it be the price?

Hi all,

I am just wondering once you put the spare wheel kit, what do you do with the older components like the polystyrene tray, compressor, tyre repair kit etc? Is there any productive use of them or do they need to be binned?  Toyota should have a spare wheel as a factory-fit option instead of generating waste via customers.

The dealer will fit if needed or when buying new if needed

Keep it and sell the wheel kit when you sell the car.  And use the compressor for occasional tyre top-ups.

Hi all,

I have eventually managed to procure and fit the spare-wheel kit. My DIY capabilities are nil, so thanks to everyone, especially @alan333, @forkingabout, @Devon Aygo, @Chrisg99

I have left the blue sticker as a sign of thanks to @alan333 who showed the difference between the 2 trims in a picture, aptly demonstrating via the blue tape, explaining the purpose and also mentioned the size of the socket to buy!

With so many conflicting parts numbers quoted by different dealers who seemed less knowledgeable than most members in this thread, I bought all the items that Alan, Lee, and Devon Aygo mentioned in this thread. Bought them via eBay - got a 15% discount via eBay as well. Also asked Toyota eBay store about the increase in jack price, and they let me have one for £12.99 (not sure why it has skyrocketed to £69).

I found the slot in the polystyrene is perfect to store a breaker bar & wheel socket, I hate using manufacturer supplied wheel braces.

So is this the kit for a GR Sport as well ?? Or do I need to buy a different wheel/tyre assembly ??

Thanks @Spo2

That's going to come in handy.

On page 1 of this thread @Devon Aygo lists the Toyota parts needed for a 2.0 hybrid with 19” wheels, which specifies an 18" space saver.  However, on page 5 of this thread @Chrisg99 (across a few posts) says a 16" space saver wheel has been test fitted on his GR Sport (with 19" wheels) by his Toyota dealer, and found to be close in rolling dimensions, and doesn't foul the brakes etc.

IIRC the 16" space saver is quite a bit cheaper than the 18", so I'd re-read that @Chrisg9 is correct and if so I’d save myself a few bob by getting the 16".

I am not sure as I don't have GR sport but based on @forkingabout post, it appears to be the same wheel/tyre.  I ordered 42600-F4210, but received 42600-F4211 as this has superseded the former.
