Hi all I’m new to this forum 

I am at my wits end hope someone can help 

my epb warning light has been coming on intermittently for just over a year . 
the fault codes have been pointing to 

exhaust pressure sensor 

exhaust temperature sensor 

mass air flow meter 

I have replace all of these at great expense.  I had the mass airflow fitted yesterday and with 80 miles the light has come back on 

very occasionally the car loses acceleration and will stall when I try and pull off .. does anyone have any idea what’s is going on 

The vehicle is a Toyota avensis business edition 1.6 diesel 2017 

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Paul, welcome to TOC.

How many miles on your car as it should be still in warranty in age terms?

Does it have any outstanding recalls (iirc there is an EGR recall for the BMW-derived diesels)?

Sounds like an EGR issue, the 1WW is the 1.6 BMW Diesel, Remember codes are just a symptom not a cause

EGR makes the exhaust cooler, means the dpf takes an age to do a regen - if the dpf clogs you get a pressure differential code, a stuck, open or clogged EGR will cause stalling/turbo lag it may also lack top end power
