Long lead time on Prius

No, but they can raise the price of the older tax bands - My Mk1 D4D went from £30 to £35, and I feel it's only a matter of time before the £0 A-tax band gets raised...

It still annoys me that my Mk4 is £110 more to tax than the much more polluting petrol s**t-box I had before, but TBH this is how it should have been all along, just a flat tax rate.

I get what they were trying to do, and encourage lower polluting cars with tax benefits, but clearly that backfired majorly!

I bet they're wishing they just stuck with the old tax system based on engine size, then they wouldn't have had to deal with all this silliness. But that's what happens if you don't follow old wisdoms like, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

I’m so amazed at the volume of “off topic” replies in this thread.

I guess the moderators are either on holiday or don’t actually “moderate” the forums.

Mod edit has a discussion about tax to do with lead times for delivery?

I'm pleasantly surprised. MyT app suddenly updated to fill in all the steps and I'm collecting my Prius Excel from the dealership on Saturday :).

I guess the MyT app just hasn't been updating correctly.
The dealer did mention that someone who ordered a Prius with them only 2 weeks after me aren't expecting delivery until Jan 2022

It's Tyrol Silver. I'm certain my Prius a few years ago was also Tyrol Silver 🙂
Went back to a Prius as having downsized to a Auris then CH-R having a son now we need to go back to something with a bit more space.

To be honest if you can get a 2022 or even a second hand 2020 it’s worth the upgrade
