Toyota Starlet Gt Turbo

Hello All,

I have been offered a '92 Starlet Turbo (by a friend who runs a Jap. import garage) for a very good price.But, I know very little about them. I have been told they are very reliable and cheap to insure(!?!? is there such a thing as cheap insurance!?) as well as very quick. I am taking it out for a test drive today, but any information you could provide from different specs, insurance tips, modifications available, tuners, owners clubs etc. would be very helpful and greatly received.

There is quite a number of performance parts for that. I believe those got a 4E-FTE, 1.3 DOHC 16 valve, Turbo.

ive only just passed my test 2 months back and have

just brought myself a stalet turbo im 17 and pay £1660 tpft

with cis so insurance for them is quite cheap really and yes they

are pretty damn quick :D :D

As you might now i am converting my car's engine 2E to a 4E-FTE. I found an engine with gearbox (at not a cheap price), but it don't got a harness or ECU, anyone got some stock version to sell me?
