p2002 particle filter below threshold

This is a common problem with the diesels.
Keep your filter clean by once a month doing an italian tune-up, revving at 4500 rpm for a couple miles to burn the ashes out.
This is basically the same they do at the Toyota dealership, using their computer to run it for a half hour at high rpms.
Difference is they charge €150 for doing it.
The local claim they never had to replace a filter , not sure if I believe that.

Now I had a 2007 2 litre where the light came on and wouldn't go out no matter what.
Could only be reset with engine cold, soon as it warmed up warning lights came on.
Sometimes went into limp mode.
Replaced the sender and checked the hoses to no avail.

Then I found the quick fix. I loosened the hoses and let one form a loop going back to the exhaust.
Then I reset the 'puter and it has been running fine ever since.
Easy fix if you want to get home.

Been driving like that, with the hoses disconnected from the sender for a good while now.
However, about once a week the warning light and the P2002 code comes on again.
Never goes to limp mode, but still annoying.
Also, it tells me that there is nothing wrong with the particle filter, since it is out of the circuit and the car drives normal.
Likely problem is then in the wiring harness.
Bugger me if I am going to bother with that when the car is driving ok.

If the filter was clogged I wouldn't bother cleaning it can buy new for less than £300.

But there is nothing wrong with the particle filter. Sender was replaced. Problem must be in computer or harness.
