Speed limiter/Cruise control - 2018

My wife’s 2018 Icon Tech has the lever/switch on steering wheel to set speed limiter, however, there is no cruise control.

On my previous Lexus, car came without cruise, but purchased lever/switch, fitted it, plugged it in and cruise control worked ( albeit without radar sensing ).

Was wondering if I change level/switch for a combined cruise and limiter switch ( £140 ), this would also give me standard cruise control?

Anyone done it or tried it?

ODon’t understand because my (Sept) 2018 Icon Tech has CC lever just below the wheel, not on the actual wheel.

It functions as a ‘dumb’ cruise control rather than active.

It doesn’t function as a limiter.

■ Accelerating after setting the vehicle speed
●The vehicle can be accelerated normally. After acceleration, the set speed
resumes.
●Even without canceling the cruise control, the set speed can be increased by first accelerating the vehicle to the desired speed and then pushing the lever down to set the new speed.

I’ve nipped out and tried it…..it does have cruise control. Think what’s happened is my wife tried it but was under 30mph so didn’t engage.

Case closed. Thanks for the feedback.

Mine works below 30, but I don't know how far. Certainly 28-29 as I often engage it 'early' then trim up.
