Power cables rear wiper motor

Hello guys I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have removed the rear wiper motor from the back of my Aygo and the cable that is left I want to wire to a spotlight I got off eBay.

My problem is that there is 3 wires. One is red, one is blue and one is white with black stripes.

Im assuming 1 is normal power 1 is a higher power and 1 is ground.

So I'm wiring my new spotlight red to red and black to the white with black stripes and leaving the third wire loose.

 

Is this right or will this work to power my light?

Blue is permanent power via a 20A fuse

Red is switched via the rear wiper switch

White/Black is ground
