Polishing Minor Scratches

I have a few very feint hairline scratches on my windscreen. On the Autoglass website it recommends using car glass polisher ( I have AutoGlym ) to help make them less visible. Is there much I can do ? You can only see them under certain light, not when driving though.

Glass in windscreen is really hard and thick. You only can reduce the reflection from the scratch by smoother it out. If it is not reflecting light so much, you are good. Chips and scratches in windscreen are normal.

Use a mild cutting compound  that should take out minor scratches - something the Farecla G3 regular  or 3M Perfect-It blue or yellow

Then a glass polish to finish

If you can catch the scratch with your finger nail, a machine polish may take it out if not, it's new screen time

Leave them alone, you'll probably only make them worse!
