Bluetooth on Yaris touch 2 system: Read Error

Hello.

1/5 times when connecting my S21 (Android 11) phone to my car, the music is blank, and it shows read error. I have to disconnect and reconnect, for it to work. I haven't had this issue on my older android phones, but this issue on another android 11 phone. It seems to be an android 11 issue, does anyone else have this?

Thanks

This is happening to me since the last update now on DEC 2023 on Android Samsung Galaxy S21. Did you solve it? "Read error" message on bluetooth. Gets connected but no music or calls

Quite a few issues found go googling this.

Suggested fix which worked for some people...

How to clear bluetooth cache Android 11?

To do this on your Android device:

Open Settings, and then tap Apps.

Tap the Sort icon (the down arrow with three vertical bars), then tap Show system apps.

Tap OK and all the system apps will appear in the list.

Tap bluetooth > Storage > Clear data.

Tap OK to confirm.

I'm an iPhone user, so can't comment on if this works or not but it's worth a try. (I'm not being "Apple Smug", iPhones have their own peculiarities 😆)
