Under bonnet fuse box

I'm surprised no one has water ingress into the fuse box,as many have been opened due to flat batteries.

I found it cheaply made,loose fit. This in a position,where the bonnet is'nt sealed and hosepipes and jet washers are directed at the gap.       Any tips?.

Wrap the fuse box with cling film.

What about foam strip on bonnet,in that area,but I'm hopeing that no one has had any problems.

It isn't sealed for a reason if it was it would build up moisture and corrosion would be rampant - it's splash proof

I would not put a hosepipe or pressure washer anywhere near a modern engine bay, there are too many electronics
