allright ladz! does anyone know how much power a 96 ss3 comes out the factory with and at what rpm the engine is producing max power, i kneed to find out for this daft sva application form ive to fill out, and i also need to know the maximum design road speed any help will be muchly appreciated i have the 3s-ge engine not the beams

for the GE engine in an MR2 .. it's about 170bhp about 6k rpm I think ..

and they top out about 135 ..

The SS-3 is the VVTI version of the 3SGE. It has 200bhp which i believe is at 6500rpm.

I thought that too, but isn't 1996 a little too soon for the BEAMS engine ?

I always thought the SS3 always had the Beams engine. Im sure i've never seen an ss3 without the vvti. ???
