Yes Lexus is much better but more expensive but then you only live once!😃

Get Lexus ES instead, it is almost as efficient as Corolla 2.0 but much quieter and simpler. It is front wheel drive, twin to Camry hybrid but with better insulation, and interior.

Lexus ES is a lot more expensive, we are talking about budget of £15k circa, Lexus IS can do eventually but it is a more expensive car to maintain by all means and has limited practicality because it is a saloon. Auris or Corolla TS wins the game for a family car imo, Lexus if you are looking just for yourself.
