Took the plunge and filled up at Asda today for its 3rd fill of its life. BP/Esso(with £20 Shell to get home from long trip) previously.

Had 45 miles remaining on dash before fill.

It took 46.62 litres.

From memory is the rav4 55 litres so technically I had around 8 litres left in the car.

Will see how it performs... 1.367 v 1.419 at BP not much of a difference though!

So about 1.75 gallons in reserve which I’m happy about, I’d be surprised if you notice anything different if the weather and road conditions are similar.

Bit of price gouging going on in Inverness. Both Esso & BP stations @ £1.39.9/litre for unleaded E10 and £1.41.9/ for diesel.

My local village Esso station still selling E10 for £1.35.9/litre - think it will change when their next supply arrives 😔.

Oh, not forgetting my Fuelpecker discount of course - sorry Craig 🙂.

On a less happy note - struggling to get my electrician of choice to fit an external outlet for charging.

Very happy with my 50.69 mpg after using 36.61 litres of fuel (no external charging involved).

I only ever use premium grades such as Vpower or similar. Where possible using my fuelpecker card for Esso saves 6p/litre.
