Toyota Connected Services subscriptions etc

I’m just working through the various subscriptions etc that are offered by Toyota. If I understand things correctly then the online connected services (Google, fuel cost, weather etc) are on a free 3 year package - and then subject to a chargeable renewal. The services (find my vehicle, driving analytics etc) linked to the MyT app are free for 10 years. Map updates are free for 3 years and then chargeable. Is the e-call system linked to any of these? Does it expire at some point? Pretty sure I will be updating to Air Play at the next service as I have no desire to pay a ludicrous £119 a year for navigation updates!

Chris, as I mentioned elsewhere I found the e-Call has a Battery that needs to be changed after 3 years but as far as I know the system is free, like 999.

E-call is a legal requirement within the UK/EU on new cars - so cannot see it is chargeable.

Thanks Frostyballs - Further digging does confirm that it is not a chargeable items as it is a legislative requirement. Spot on!

Ive just ordered a new motorcycle from BMW. They've offered one of those buttons on the handlebars as an optional extra for a few years, but it's becoming standard now, with the cost being added to the price. I'm guessing it's another EU thing.
