Has anyone fitted a rev counter on a MK1 Aygo? Any steps to fit one? Would love to fit one to my car but don't know how difficult it is.

It should be very doable. The wife had a 56 plate C1 and the model she chose had a rev counter as standard, like an eye popping out from the steering wheel.

Might be an idea to remove the speedo cowling and check you got the wiring and connector for the rev counter before buying one, easy to do and saves a lot of aggro. Your vintage Aygo should be ok, but know at some point not all bugs had the wiring/connector, so worth checking. While cowl is off just check it got the rev counter cut out marked, think they are, so you can cut your existing cowl if you only get a rev counter without the pre-cut cowl.

Thanks guys for the replies. I will check if it has the wiring and stuff and I’ll go from there.

Didn't know they made a difference. Thanks for the heads up. Have 60 Reg Aygo so in the middle of the production I think. (might have some more models for you to paint 🙂 )
