Stereo head unit swap, for DAB/APPLE PLAY unit...help!

Hey all.

My other half wants a stereo upgrade for Christmas. 

Car is a mk2 Auris hybrid 1.8, 2012

She wants a unit with DAB that runs off bluetooth from an iPhone.

How do I get the replacement unit to fir exactly ?

Is this a big job?

Glad you're looking at a decent brand like pioneer, but be aware some lower end models only support Apple carplay only and not android auto as standard - you will also lose the hybrid monitor

 

2012 is an early Mk2 Auris - The Mk2 is 10/2012 onwards, but there is an overlap between the mk1 and 2, so a 62 plate could be a mk1 or 2, the mk1 uses a different head unit fitting kit than the one above
