Toyota touch 2 and go acting up

I have recently started having problems with my touch 2 and go system. When the car starts it starts to initialise then the screen goes blank. After a few seconds it will attempt to initialise again. It will do this constantly. The only thing that works is the trip (centre button). The navigation and hands free systems are inoperable. The reverse camera works fine. If left overnight, the following day it initialises as normal and everything works as it should for 3 or 4 days, then back to the problem again. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to rectify it. All suggestions welcome.

remove the radio and disconnect the Nav module and see if it behaves

Thanks for your reply. Does this mean me removing the whole thing from the dash or can I do it through settings?
