Hi there,

I need to get the oil filter removal wrench adapter thing for my 2011 D4D 2L and am wondering what the correct size is, there appears to be 3. I think it is the 64.5mm one but I would appreciate it if someone could confirm.

80mm => Toyota Oil Filter Replacement Tool 22490 TOFT-1 | Draper Tools

64.5mm =>Oil Filter Socket 64.5mm 14 Flats with 6 Slots for Toyota 29130 OFS-64-5MM14F6S | Draper Tools

63-64 =>Oil Filter Socket 63-64mm 14 Flats for Toyota 29119 OFS-63-64MM14F | Draper Tools

Regards,
J

I'm pretty (almost 100%) sure 64,5mm is correct one.

Yes, I'm fairly sure it's this one as well. Going to chance this one.

i went out looked at mine its a draper expert  stock no 22490 one and its a  p-14 64.5mm

one same as this but got p-14 64.5mm printed inside it.another quick question when putting the oil filter on do u just hand tighten those on not screw them down tight

Thanks 2009Joe, actually went to a local MF rather than ordering online and they told me it was the 22490. From the Draper website, it says this one is 80mm but as you say, when the guy at the store took it out of the box, 64.5mm was printed on the inside of the cup. A little confusing indeed.

Re. Tightening, I wasn't going to tighten it too much. I'll judge by the force needed to loosen it. Toyota did the last change so it will be interesting to see.

Yeah, the low oil light spooked me on my first journey after 10 minutes. Had to call someone to pick up some oil and drop it me, at the side of the road!
